Thymosin Alpha-1 has been studied extensively for its immunomodulatory properties and its potential therapeutic applications in various medical conditions. It stimulates the maturation and activation of certain immune cells, such as T-cells, which play a central role in orchestrating the body’s immune response.
Selank, as well as a related peptide drug, Semax, have been found to inhibit enzymes involved in the degradation of enkephalins and other endogenous regulatory peptides, and this action may be involved in their effects.
